YOU ARE YOUR WEALTH

It all starts from nothing. All of us came into this world naked,helpless and ignorant. So it is whenever you want to start a new project. The first task is to take stock of  your resources. In business it is called preparing a balance sheet, an overview of your assets and liabilities.

 Example of some assets are cash, securities and other liquid investments,real estate,cars,equipments,furniture, jewelry,etc while some liabilities are debts, obligations,mortgages, bank loans, promissory notes,etc.

When you subtract your liabilities from your assets, you come up with your net worth. If you want to be a net millionaire...then what you own minus what you owe must be more than a million dollars.

Having such balance sheet assumes that it is our possessions that make us wealthy. The truth is many invisible items are left off the traditional balance sheet. These invisible assets are the real source for all the wealth we possess.

For instance what about the original business idea, the contacts,creativity, relationships,determination,persietence,commitment and knowledge ?  None of these attributes appear on the balance sheet but there is no tangible balance sheet without them. The truth is you don't have wealth. You are your wealth.

 So let's see an enlightened balance sheet..

Internal assets are creativity,imagination,vision,generosity,courage,boldness,persistence,intergrity,expert connections and customer databases,valuable skills like selling,persuasion,marketing and time management.

Internal liabilities are anger,small mindedness,pettiness,perfectionism,fear,anxiety,hesistancy,laziness,bad reputation,poor organizer.

Literally,as a beginner you need three resources a good idea, commitment to do it and the key contacts who possess all other resources.
