BE YOURSELF
Good morning beloved, it is a beautiful morning. Happy weekend. Daily as I think on the opportunities God gives me to write and inspire people,I only can say Thank you both to my maker and to you as well... For finding the time to read and support this blog. I can't thank you enough and may God bless you surly and cause the eyes of your understanding to be enlightened through this blog.
Wow... Today's post is very exciting, something we all can relate with, very dramatic topic... I'm very happy to be bringing it to light this morning, so please flow with me.
Alright we will be talking about Be yourself. Do you know you are the best of your kind, whether dark, fair, tall, short, slim, fat, intelligent, not intelligent, etc? Do you really know? Of course you will say yes... Then what could make you to compare yourself with another, developing feelings of insecurities? Why are you not comfortable with your person? Why do you have to please others doing what you originally won't do just to belong in a group? Hello.... Ever heard the word STAND out.... I would say stand out in your uniqueness.
Like for real do you know how boring life would be if every doctor wants to be like Dr Ben Carson... Or how every pastor or evangelist would want to be like Bishop T. D jakes? Hmmm what do you think of sometimes? Do you think God can't be smart enough to make everybody look alike and behave alike...? For him to have made you the way you are, distinctly different from others, don't you think there could be a little wisdom in that? So why can't you celebrate your uniqueness and differences.
Let's keep that holding. You know your favorite meal all time is Akara and bread or maybe you like always to drink garri....and you are in the midst of people eating fried rice and chicken etc and you also see that bread and Akara....so you cannot be yourself and eat your bread and Akara Ehn?
Okk you know you are the kind of person you can't really walk well on pumps... Wedge is your thing... Then you hear there's an outing and the uniform is pumps... So you can't be yourself and go in with wedge or even rather not show up... But no you must show with pumps that will fracture your ankle at the end of the day and after you tell me life is hard on you.
Lemme make it clearer, you know in a month you earn let's say 200$ Max. And you know really really well that's all you have and you have expenses to make... Now you have friends earning 500$ a month and you can't be yourself and say no to buying expensive clothes and going for unnecessary trips and at the end of the day you go back to borrowing...
My dear why make life that is so simple complicated for you? The simplicity of life and the beauty of life is in being yourself simple. Men are in sizes, live according to your size. Be content with as such things as you have.
By the way when you are not yourself, you are simply telling God,He didn't try in creating you... It should have been this way or that way... Abeg since when did you know better than your creator?
Honestly, be yourself and have peace of mind. You don't have to impress anyone rather be impressive. People would respect you more for your originality than when you live a life that's not yours.
So that's the drama I see everyday. Ejo please just try to be yourself. Be open about who you are. If you cannot afford 100naira coke,my friend drink water. Don't suck at being like someone and you won't sleep until you drink that wine, yoghurt or coke that person is drinking... Too much coke is unhealthy sef. You want to live big... Live big by making a big deal of the you that God created.. Appreciate his hand work and carry yourself as God's best... One of a kind.... Trust me you will live a more fulfilled life if you do so.
