HOW TO FIND A MARRIAGE PARTNER

Heyyy guys...It is the most important day of the week for me...It's Wednesday...our relationship day for the week...Always an exciting and learning experience for me. Let's dive in to how to find a marriage partner..

" Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,and obtaineth favour of the Lord.(Proverbs 18:22)".

 Anyone who is considering marriage is required to take some steps in locating a partner... I'm going to highlight some of those steps. The bible says ask and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find...
The underlying prerequisite for finding is seeking and seeking involves a diligent search..The following steps would help you in locating a partner for marriage..



1. Desire a partner.

You have to sincerely desire a partner. You must be honest with yourself. What you don't desire may not be appreciated. Desires are primarily in the heart but find expression on the outside eventually. Admit your desire for a marriage partner before God and man privately and publicly without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. Don't pretend not to need one when you actually do. Marriage is honourable and that desire is not carnal but spiritual if you follow God's approach to it.

2. Find out God's provision for marriage in scriptures and appropriate it.

The bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you (Mattew 6:33)... Marriage is inclusive in all these things..so focus your mind on God and his work and definitely marriage will be added unto you.

3. Prayer.

The bible says commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and he shall bring it to pass.(Psalms 37:5)

Choosing a life-partner is a lifetime decision in which God's intervention is highly indispensable. A major way of ensuring God's involvement in a matter is by seeking His face in prayer.

4. Give thanks.

...having done all...stand(Ephesians 6:13)
How do you stand after doing all these? Give thanks always...let your faith be intact and your confession fall in line. After thanks apply patience.

5.Apply the 'deep sleep' concept.

Genesis 2:21-23 shows us how Adam was in a deep sleep and how Eve came about in the course of his sleep. Deep sleep in the sense of the word refers to absolute rest, lack of anxiety and worry. Having prayed to God refuse to be anxious about that situation..

6. Make yourself as good as the type of person you desire.

The idea of finding a partner stresses the fact that not just anybody can be your mate. It is easy however to be busy looking out for the right person, probably laying out specific qualities without quite considering whether you are in a right condition to be found by another person. Think and consider if you constitute a right person to be sought after..do unto others what you want them to do unto you...Remember water seeks its own level.

7. Open both your spiritual and physical eyes.

In opening your spiritual eyes there is need for you to be vigilant and alert in your spirit cos God is a spirit and He communicates with you through your spirit. Ensure your spirit is devoid of rowdiness. Until your spirit catches what God has to say, you might find yourself just beating about the bush.

Opening your physical eyes requires you to make use of your physical eyes to be able to locate someone you can appreciate,love and walk with for the rest of your life and you must be true to yourself particularly at this stage.

8. Making the move.

After you have been led by the spirit of God and you discover who your partner should be, go ahead and make it known to the person,but allow the person time to pray about it too and be led of God.

Time is one of the most valuable resources given to us and you get what you make out of it. Time is a gift given to us by God Almighty... and as such it ought to be treasured. Just like every resource we have, you are going to be responsible and accountable for the resources given to you. DETERMINATION

Good evening dearie...Hope you have been awesome.. Yeah today's post is coming now but it's better late than never. I'm committed to helping you discover yourself on a daily basis, hence the push to still put something down today. Today we will be summarizing all we have been saying this week so far in just one word: Determination. What is determination? It is a positive emotional feeling that involves persevering towards a difficult goal in spite of the obstacles. It occurs prior to goal attainment and serves to motivate one's behavior towards achievement of that goal. Let me paint the picture clearer this way?  Is the task before you difficult? Obviously yes.
